FAQ
Common questions about locks, fees, and withdrawals.
Can I withdraw before the unlock time?
No. That's the entire point of a lock — there is no early-withdraw path, admin override, or emergency unlock.
Can I change the unlock date after creating a lock?
It can only be pushed later, never earlier — for token and LP-token locks. Use “Deposit more” on the lock's certificate page: it lets the owner extend the unlock date (optionally alongside adding more balance) in one transaction, and the contract itself rejects any attempt to move it earlier. Vesting locks are the one exception - their schedule is fixed at creation and can't be extended at all. Still, double-check your intended date before confirming a new lock; don't rely on extending it later.
What happens if I lose access to the owner wallet?
The lock is tied to the owner address on-chain — whoever controls that address after the unlock time can withdraw. Keep the owning wallet's recovery phrase safe.
